The Prince Vs The Insurgents

It looks like the British Army is still going to deploy Prince Harry to Iraq. I wonder why? What difference will he make in the war? Will he single-handedly change the course of the war? What do you think the insurgents will do when Harry is in Iraq? It doesn't take an expert to figure out that they will go all out to try to get Harry. So deploying the Prince will actually endanger the British troops as they will be subjected to attacks that would not been taking place if the Prince was not there. I understand that the Prince doesn't want any special treatment. But do you think the insurgents will not treat the Prince differently?
